How much can I expect to earn from a burger van?
Thinking of starting out in this business, but I’m extremely cautious given that I’ve got used to earning my regular money from ‘The Man’. What sort of money can you realistically expect to earn from a mobile burger van? I’m thinking of decent quality but low cost fare such as good sausages and bacon in rolls, with homemade soup and hot drinks sort of things, so nothing too unusual or quirky. Any other tips or things to avoid are more than welcome.
firstly have you taken into account all your overheads? Fuel, food costs packaging cleaning materials, wages? advertising rates? tax? would you be ready for your first EHO visit if You Can say yes to all that then have you set your prices? whats likely to be the average spend, that will depend on just where you site yourself, have you got competition nearby?
Dont do this just for the money and it takes time to build up trade
